Thanks. I couldn't find a 21mm aftermarket rubber-backed strap, so this one is 1 mm too narrow at the lugs (that's why I asked the question about the AT GMT you were looking at.) Leather-backed straps just don't last long on my wrist and I want to preserve the original.

Very nice. I prefer the somewhat "vintage" proportions of this one over the current gen.

It came on a black croc strap right? Is it calf skin on the inside?

Omega straps are fantastic. I'd just say use it and buy a new one when you wear it out. What do they charge for replacement straps? Since you already have the deployant I'm hoping not too bad.

But I know what you mean. In the summer months it's hard not to destroy those straps with sweat. I have the same issue. Wound up buying a bracelet for my moonphase for exactly that reason.

Love seeing pics of this one! It is the exact model I am striving to obtain and, when I do, I’ll be getting the bracelet for it as well.

You'll be seeing it again tomorrow for sure (Full Moon)

Great watch. Strongly suggest getting it pre-owned. Should be able to get a hefty discount over anything the AD will offer. Good luck!

Yes, it came on a croc strap and is calfskin on the inside. I'd guess it's $400-500 to replace it but I haven't checked. The previous owner (who did not wear it) provided the original strap and the long version. The watch was fitted with the long version when I acquired it, which I'll probably end up selling.

When I ordered an OEM strap for my old Moonwatch the strap itself cost $360. Not sure if price is the same for your strap but it's probably similar.

I've tended to move away from Omega over the past 18 months and more into vintage military watches. There has been one watch that I haven't been able to stop looking at and finally succumbed. I know it's not everyone's fave and the list price is very top heavy but I love it. I'm pleased to be back in the Omega fold
