Rough 5508 Sub for review
Rough 5508 Sub for review...These are not my photos, so I can't say much about this one until I see it firsthand. There is no bezel and the crystal is badly scratched...Opinions welcome and thanks for looking...band is later.

Doesn't look all to bad honestly. Source an insert, polish the crystal, get it cleaned up and it'll look great

Finding an insert will likely be the toughest part!

Very attractive... everything has its value and this Sub is certainly worth pursuing. What kind of numbers is the seller thinking.

Give the crystal a good polisch and show us that dial!
The case seems to be in great condition as does the rivet bracelet, sourcing a bezel should be possible on the forums... Here's my ols lady |

Since most of the money is in the dial. Polish the crystal.

So you did buy it--way to go... and just a crystal clean-up made a huge difference. Looks great.

Movement image.
Now, anyone have a correct bezel insert laying around? If so, let me know.

Correct 5508 bezel insert or correct period service insert needed.

Very nice! Every time I see a watch like this, I always think of the stories it could tell if it was able to talk. I love seeing pieces like these!

Love it! I'll keep my eyes out for a bezel insert.
