Tudor 7928 First Impressions

Saw this one listed today. Seller claims he picked it up in an estate sale. Curious to hear your thoughts and impressions as to whether it looks legit. The pearl looks funky to my untrained eye. Attached are some preliminary photos. The case back has not been removed to look inside.

Following. I AM NOT AN EXPERT, but bezel looks decent, but agree with you on pearl. Not sure if supposed to be lollipop second hand or not.
If right, a real nice piece!

I'd want to see the movement before making any decisions

More importantly even to the movement is engraving between both the lugs.

It will have an ETA movement, but rotor engraving is important tell.

I’m awaiting photos of the engraving but am told that the model is clearly visible and the serial number as well although a bit fainter. Appreciate the comments, please keep them coming.

Well they should be clear but NOT too "new" (fresh) looking

These models were based of the 2824 or 2483 (used in the prince watches) Couldn’t remember for sure off top of my head.

Yup, the 2483 was used in the price date Tudors and if I remember correctly they used ETA 2824-2 for the subs while modifying the rotor and balance.

The dimensions of the dial don't look right.... like the scale is off or something looks odd... check out different pics online and compare.
