I own that watch, the real one purchased from an AD new, and that watch doesn’t look anything like mine!

How can you be on here 9 years with 4k posts and think this is real?!???

Unless you need to read with braille...this should be grounds for a ban.

It's a fake. Crown and guards are also wrong.

I figured this one was off but not up to speed on vintage so thought it was worth a shot. Usually buy from legit sellers but this is from a forum I’ve scored a solid genuine 14060 for a deal so I always troll it to see what’s out there. You can pay by credit card so risk is minimal other than the hassle of a chargeback.

That said, passing on this one.

There is no doubt: this is all fake, including accessories.

So, who is offering this watch to you as genuine?

I am happy to challenge them about it, if they're in the trade.

Edit - sorry, didnt see the latest posts on second page when I wrote this. Still, would be interested to know where it is being advertised.....perhaps we can save someone else.

Yup. I‘m always asking myself who those people are offering a fake.

As already said before, the whole thing is crap. Box, papers and the watch need the hammer

Anyone who says this is anywhere near genuine should revoke any privilege of posting on the Watchout! board.

Nothing on that watch is real, this is the reason I stopped posting on the watchout! section.... everyone spews horrid opinions.

Let's do it by the numbers here.

Crown guards are wrong... not even close
Date mag..... non-existant
Font on date.... wrong
Bezel width.... wrong
Hand length.... wrong

Not to mention the amateur hour tell... incorrect hand sequence. The GMT hand should be above the hour hand.

Oh goodness.

Honestly, i wouldn’t even need to look at the watch. I can tell by how bad the photo and lighting is. It’s 2019 people. If you are posting authenticity checks without solid photos, it’s probably garbage. Anyone with an iPhone can take brilliant photos.
