Hello everyone, I’m a french 23 years old archival collector and I unfortunately get robbed last night… the thief didn’t target me earlier as a Rolex owner he just get lucky by stealing my watch… I already file a complaint to the police but I would like to blacklist it from the market, and I hope to get it back one day.

Here is all the informations :

Date : 30’s
Name : 5056 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Chronometer
Serial Number : 669732
Description : Nato’s bracelet, silver case, yellow faded dial

If you guys have any recommendations to do the right things, i would sincerely appreciate

Thank you so much for your time ❤️

Sorry to hear that.

Keep an eye out on Crono24.com and eBay for Rolex 5056 being sold - some thieves are idiots and try to sell there, or they might 'fence' it (sell it) to a dealer, who posts it up there.

Worth telling WatchRegister.co.uk of fact it's stolen too and they will update database so it's confiscated if anyone tries to sell it or service it in UK.

Useful to do that as many French watches end up in London

I don't know if in France you have an equivalent to the Watch Register you can log it with too.

Perhaps Xavier or other French members know ?

Hoping you have some form of house/contents cover that will reimburse you.

Good luck going fwd....
