I did a wire transfer to his account in Stockholm. I believe the references given to me was bogus. In fact I called two of them and they both confirmed he is legit and have purchased from him recently. To date I have yet to receive an email nor has he return my calls. I have also try to contact the two references and their phones are off and not reachable. I will lodge a report with the police in Stockholm. Thanks.

Just some thoughts about being scammed like this.
You been provided with phone numbers and name for references. Always check if the info is comperising name verca number. Do they have a adress along with the provided info? Is it accurated. And the person who is selling? Does his info really exist in the real. Look it up very careful. Always make sure the info they give you can match youre search for the in real life person. In this case they gave you all bogus info. No listed phone number. Wrong adress. Adress to where the bank is located not his home adress. And he did in fact spelled it wrong. Easy to check where a person lives here in sweden just by his name. This adress you got was to the bank, sorry. Not his home. And he also closed the phone numbers right after you had give them a call. Always wait and give time to have the info checked.
You need to contact the bank for his irlp adress and personnumber. Then file a complain to our lokal police. Or if you get his real name through the bank, in this case swedbank brunkebergstorg post his info and we go from there.
Sorry for this but always check up on a person carefully. Always buy the seller :(

An update..
The police in Sweden has caught the person and his accomplice. Both have scammed various people along the way. Both were found guilty by the court. The court has confiscated and freeze all their movable and immovable assets including bank accounts. This would be used to pay the plaintiffs proportionately to their claims amount if the amount is insufficient. They are however still liable to pay the full amount including interest.
