Datejust 41 Bezel

I had this 126300 Datejust 41 last month. My favorite combination is jubilee + fluted bezel but I found a very good deal and had it brand new 2020.I really love the romans and azzurro dial.I know that bezel exchange is available for this case and I want to change it to fluted white gold one.I could not find any price or part on sites. Can I have it from Rolex services and how much does this costs to me,any ideas? Thanks for the answers.

Or

Is this a bad idea to change the original watch? How is it looking with the smooth bezel.

What about keeping your DJ if you are happy with it, and then buy an OP 39mm? :)

You cannot change a Datejust bezel from steel to gold 'officially'.

You need to find an unauthorised watchmaker that you trust to do it.

I know it's easy to change. What I mean is it is not a Rolex approved modification, so sourcing the bezel will not always be easy and the price you pay will be the price somebody charges for it. There is no official price because it's not an official repair.

I know, this action is not official because watches referance number is changing so Rolex do not give permission to this but I want to know that can I buy it from a official Rolex service like a spare part.

No, you cannot buy it from Rolex or any authorised watchmaker that abides by their contract.

Your options are to find a watchmaker with a parts account that is willing to risk losing their accreditation to sell you a bezel (I suspect not many will), or pick one up whenever/wherever you see one for sale at what will be an inflated price as a result of the extremely limited supply.

Ok I understood at that moment.I think I can found it but no idea about the price, there is nearly 2000-2500usd differance between fluted and smooth version on gray market.

The $2000 difference is because the smooth bezel is steel and the fluted bezel is 18ct white gold.

I see them on eBay all the time. They arnt that hard to get and frankly they get replaced more often than many think due to damage and or over polishing. I actually put a stainless fluted after market bezel on a 36 I had as the original was horribly over polished and nobody could tell it wasn’t original LOL.

I sold it with full disclosure.
