Cape cod on clasp removed the sharp edge!

More like the center section is thicker at the ends than in the middle. The design is from more of a symmetry perspective whereby there are not two sharp edges at the middle of the clasp, similar to how the lugs are slightly thicker on the non-crown side of a Rolex watch case (when looking down at the watch). It’s very subtle when looking at the watch or clasp as a whole, but is noticeable when inspected closely by individual sections.
