Well people ordered the Ming watches out of nowhere and based on a Hodinkee review. I would wait as well, so no problem.

Yes, but I had to chase them up with two emails several days after payment to get that info. I have a tracking number now, and it was last seen in Poland three days ago. (Ordered a week ago today).

I never got the email or SMS notification, and my order page says not yet shipped. Send an email to gui@danhenrywatch.com.

Really waiting to know your first impression and pics when you receive it!!
For my diver I'll wait till the end of the month and will ask the estimated arrival date. In the website says Europe orders will be sent around 25th. Let's see!!

Really looking forward to this. Think it could fill a similar niche as my now-departed sla017 -- 40mm retro diver on a rubber strap -- and for less than 10% of the cost

I loved wearing it but felt that it was intended for more serious (and probably older) collectors of seiko & vintage divers. Plus it was an easy sale at a small premium to what I paid

Yeah, it doesn't really seem to have that fun element of 60s divers for some reason.

Any others received theirs yet?

They asked me to verify identity because shipping & billing Address are different countries... overkill IMO but watch is now shipped

Ok, it's arrived. First impressions are positive. Fit and finish is very nice. Leather strap is fine, fabric strap isn't great, but that's ok because I have been planning to put this on a bund strap all along. I think it works well. I like it

The leather and canvas watch roll is pretty nice, too, and has already found a purpose.

Looks good Adam

I am thinking of ordering the black dialled one. On the site it states the second hand is a smooth sweep, is that the case or does it step like most quartz movements.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. I like that they include a watch roll.
Size of the watch seems to be good also.
Congrats!

Thanks Ian. It's kind of half and half...about 4 beats per second.

Thanks Joost. Yes, the size is good, especially for reading the inner tachy numbers. Watch roll has a nice leather smell. I'd gladly pay HK$350 for one.

Thanks Adam! The case finished looks great IMO. The crown is nice but pushers bit big for me.
Straps look good too.
Now is time to enjoy it with the best health!!
Aaahhhgggg!! Now I want mine!!!

Wow, I only just found this thread after seeing your post in the WRUW thread Adam! I found out about Dan Henry watches two weeks ago and have since ordered the new diver! They asked me to confirm my identity as well which is strange, but hopefully will ship out by today!

I will post pics forthwith.

I'm looking forward to seeing some incomings from you guys. In the meantime, the Ranger bracelet is a perfect fit both in size and finish. I think this might be a long-term pairing.

Nice looking watches fellas!!!

That Ranger bracelet is about the most versatile one out there due to those straight end links that it seems no one likes.

The Ranger bracelet is actually a very slightly flusher fit between these lugs than between the Ranger's lugs. There's almost no play at all. Perfect match.
