That guy has been through a lot of pain and suffering. I hope this is truly the final one and he is back on his feet in no time. Great guy with such a positive attitude.

I copied this from Tom's website........
NOTICE : It is 8 June. I am home as of last night. Surgery went like clockwork but somehow during surgery I was infected with two different antibiotic resisitant "bugs". One is "Mersa" (sp?) the other I can't remember the name of. They caught both before I left the hospital. I am on home-administered anitbiotic IV's with a "PICC" line. This is all scheduled to end mid June (10 more days about?). They had to re-open my surgical wound to debride or clean it out (and it HAD gone perfectly too, damn it!). That is being taken care of with a "Wound Vac" (also high maintainance). The wound (huge wound too!) is being held shut with vacuum which also sucks out the drainage and keeps it cleaner than a nomal dressing. A home-service nurse is administering to that , which needs to be changed out Mon-Wed-Fri. (Ugh, the pain.) Almost, almost all done. I apologise SO MUCH for any delays. Believe me, I don't want to be "here"................... I should be starting back to work soon, thanks so much for your patience................. |

Thanks for the update, Adrian. All that info has brought tears to my eyes. I see no reason why such a good man like Tom should needlessly suffer so much.
I hope and pray that he makes it through these horrible times and comes out a new and healthy man. Whoever said: Health is Wealth, knew what the hell he was talking about, that's for sure!!! JJ |

Hey Earl, just got back tonight and will be back at the grind Tuesday morning.
The trip was a blast and my parents love the time with Dylan. That and Andie and I love to donate to the local Indian Reservation Casinos, LOL!! |
