Beautiful.

Wish they'd make one without diamonds for the DD, and for subs, too. My DD is rose gold and I think would be perfect against the silvery grey. I just prefer my dial without diamonds. They'll probably never make one...

Ya I'm not real big on diamonds
The dial I don't mind but lugs or bezel or band dials are not for me.

I'd like a 41mm dd meteorite.

Icon20 I am sold on that Meteorite Rolex!

That thing is SICK! Okay, dude, post the price you'll take for it. Where did you get this? I really want one. Any paperwork on the meteorite itself.

Awesome, completely, absolutely awesome. Just don't wear it while you drive! AMAZING!!!

Even with the price increase announcement, I still would have purchased this piece…and it's still magnificent, but I have to admit that it's my special occasion watch and spends most of its time in my safe. Is that wrong?

Meteorite Daytona, indeed my grail watch. Can probably never afford one. How much would a pre-owned one cost? If anyone who owns one will ever be willing to part with it ......

I just got mine today :)

Just bought my Christmas gift to myself from Davidson and Licht - a Daytona WG with the Meteorite dial - I can't stop staring at it and I love how the light can give it different patterns and appearances at different angles :)

No regrets :)

I finally got the meteorite dial WG daytona...definately a keeper. Pictures dont do it justice.

I have heard that Rolex cuts the dial from the same piece of meterite....wonder how much is left

Any idea how many of these dials were ever sold or produced??

Here's an article someone posted.
A dealer once told me that the production yield rate success for meteorite dials is quite low.

Enjoyed this thread, glad it was recently bought back to life - especially as I've just picked up one of these myself. I've noticed that with the later Meteorite dial Random serial number Daytona's Rolex have decided to add some Lume to the hour and minute hands, a nice touch IMHO....

Hello! I haven’t visited in a couple of years. Yes. I still have my Meteorite Daytona. I didn’t know they added lum to the hands. That’s cool! But I love my original!
