What's Next? Rolex/Tudor 9411 Bubbly dial Extreme Patina

Dear TRF Members,
I have been collecting vintage watches for a few years and have learned a lot from this forum thanks to its existence.
I am experienced about Tritium dials and the Patina types and the factors that cause Patina however I have always wondered what Will be the next stage (20 years from now) for a watch that already has extreme amount of Patina and Bubbly dial like this Tudor 9411 from the early 70's.
I am considering buying this beautiful piece I know that the hands have been changed at some point and the Ghost bezel is original, Dial is Bubbly and markers are under extreme Patina which is good news that a 40+ years old dial is Original on this watch.
My question is that what is going to happen after 20 years? Is the dial going to Peel off and turn into an ugly looking Snowflake?
Is it gonna become Tropical ( which I doubt)
Is the Patina on markers going to turn darker?
Is this watch worth buying and keeping for many years?
We know that the dial has been under a lot of sun exposure, oxidization and other factors that put together a Dial like this.
I also know that Tudor dials From early 70's sometimes Turn bubbly because of the Dial finishing problems that they had back then but not sure how much of that is true.

All Vintage Watch Collectors, Doctors, Chemists and Professors and Medical researchers opinions are welcome ;)

Thank you TRF and Members.

Condition is commonly referred to as acne. Due to poorly chosen paint products and prep methods back in the day. I am not sure how much environment had to do with the decay but i am certain there is an effect. I would guess the dial, if handled poorly or hit with a jarring impact will flake off in places. I would assume that the connection between the metal plate and painted surface has been stressed and is not as bonded as it otherwise would be. That being written, with the increase in interest in tudor pieces i do think that these dials will have a place in collector's hearts. I am not in love with them yet but i am getting there.

I actually didn’t end up buying it.
I’m glad I didn’t. Even though the Dial is Original it could easily get destroyed.

Thank you TRF members for your advice.

Happy Holidays

That watch just sold for 5500 Canadian dollars or 4300 usd. Which was a jewelry store retail setting. That would have been top dollar and that was only 20 days ago. Is it worth more. Probably not.

That watch has changed hands a couple of times in the past couple of weeks and for a lot more than $5500 CAD.

If that snowflake is going to be relumed but is running ok I’d try staining the hand lume first. Save worry of harming the dial lifting the hands.

If they are to be removed and relumed anyway, what harm is there trying. Certainly look a lot better than it does currently. I have recently made up a really patina’d Watch from a modern one and you can get some great results staining lume.

Dry rot is common on these dials. I would think color-matching the hands would make the whole watch look much better.
