5512 check
A friend has this currently and would like to check if any red flags. Looks like bezel/insert have been changed, anything else?

I've just had word from him that after speaking to a local collector they think the watch is fake.

Unusual to see that kind of case corrosion on a fake...

The watch does have certain discrepancies that would make me leary.

Other than the insert not being correct, what's wrong with it?
The movement looks correct, and the dial looks good too although the lume is a little puffy. |

Personally I don’t like it. Dial and caseback look completely wrong. Set makes no sense with 2.5m paper, that box and a watch like that.
I have no interest in these kind of watches so please excuse me if I am wrong. To me it looks fake. Please show us serial and ref numbers from in between the lugs. Just throwing my opinion in there as some say it looks good. |

The movement is certainly correct. Papers, box, bracelet all appear too "New", I agree, especially the bracelet. But I'm no familiar with fake folded links, but I'm not knowledgeable in the minutiae of vintage rolex. The watch was sold by auction house about 5 years ago. It's now in the hands of. Dealer trying to verify authenticity.

Yes. Forgot the bracelet. 9315 stamp does look terrible. Can’t comment on much else from those low quality pics.

Frankenwatch at best .. the auto bridge says 1570, and the balance wheel and bridge are 1560.

Here is a thread I put together a while ago regarding attributes of a genuine 9315 bracelet with plenty of photos.
