Are there any "trusted sellers" for wallets.

It has 8 pockets, all inside except the 8th which is on the reverse.

Anyone here own such models ?

Nice! I have the same style in khaki Epi. I rotate between that, Goyard and FLP. I think I prefer them in that order to be honest.

Try eBay. My wife made good money reselling new handbags in college but doesn't do it anymore. There are people out there, unfortunately with LV you would need to buy preowned to get a deal.

Bond and Knight Wallet

Not as expensive but I have this a while now and is its just one piece of folded leather the edges seem to be doing fine.

Plus it's a bit different, they have quite a nice range at reasonable prices.

I have this wallet http://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/pr...t-taiga-000287

Don't have pictures but after owning it for close to 5 months it still looks new and holds up very well. It is low profile that doesn't scream "hey look at my wallet", which for me makes it more enjoyable.

I have a question for those of you who 1) live in the US and 2) ordered something from Faure Le Page that incurred an import duty.

How did you get notified that you had to pay that duty? Was it at the time of payment for your item, at the time of delivery, or at some point later? If it was later, did that come as a bill in the mail? Finally, who did you pay the duty to? TNT, FedEx, or somebody else?

Thanks for any help.

I ordered through Galeries Lafayette and incurred an import duty. In my case Customs wouldn't release my package until I paid for the invoice online. It wasn't until after I paid the package was released for delivery.

The bill was from IBC (International Bonded Couriers); IBC then transferred the package over to FedEx. Before my package hit IBC, it was being delivered through Chronopost.

I think the experience is different with TNT; from my understanding the bill comes a few weeks later in the mail. Then again, this was my friend's experience from several months ago (she also lives in the US), so it might be different now.

Been using Prada leather goods for about a decade, once I grew out of my LV phase. Bought this wallet last week. Holds up to 8 cards, and fits nicely in your jeans pocket. About 1/2" thick. My last one which was in black, still looks like new 4 years later........cost $375 CAD.

What is the problem? You can use your credit card or transfer the amount to their account.

How many times have you tried? Maybe you've paid 3-4 times :-)

I think they said there is a time limit you have once sent. Did you do it immediately once you received?

Maybe email them and tell them of your issue

You may also want to contact your CC company. Sometimes since it's an international transaction, they want to verify is you.
As others said, you click on the link and another window 'pops up' to enter your payment info.

This is what happened when I ordered. I had to talk to my cc company to clear payment.

John - you should be getting kickbacks...just received today.

My FLP 6cc blue wallet arrived today. The invoice says: Made in Spain if anyone is still interesting in where it's made.

Way less than goyard and still less than LV. ~€240 for the smaller wallet I bought including all taxes and shipping. I think I received a VAT reimbursement a month or so later but I forget.
