Tour Of George Patton Museum
As promised, here's a tour of the George Patton Museum next to Fort Knox, in Radcliff, Ky.
Checkout the watches on display. Yes, this is the famous Fort Knox. dP

Its been years since I was stationed there in 82-83, and the museum pretty much looks like I remember seeing it the last time I visited. Brings back some good memories.
Thanks for taking and sharing your Pics Dan. |

Thanks for the tour Dan. I really enjoyed this. I have read many books on WWII and he was a fascinating individual.

I went to Basic Training there and toured that museum. I'm spoiled by living near the Smithsonian, and I remember how great I thought the Patton Museum was.
The US Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker is another good one. Most "Branch HQ" bases have a good museum. |

It was interesting how the sign said the "French Omega Watch Company".
Would that be a division of the Swiss Omega Watch Company? I note that the dial of the watch says 'Swiss Made' at the 6 O'Clock position.
