Have SubND, Speedy, and Tank. What should be my next watch?

Hi all,
I currently have 14060m (subND), 3570.50 (moonwatch), and cartier tank solo quartz.

I'm interested in collecting iconic timepieces, but want to limit my collection to 5 watches max.

Please give me some recommendations. Thanks!

Maybe throw in a Seiko? GS or Marinemaster

Any watch collector worth his or her salt would add the Zenith El Primero Tricolour dial Chronograph into the collection : 42 mm (Cal 400B) or 38 mm Original 1969( fitted with the Cal 400).

The New Vintage 1969 Zenith El Primero 40th Anniversary LE to total 500 pieces in Rose Gold (This One is very special, A Forbes magazine favourite & its editor's choice), SS and Titanium (Black PVD coat) versions are very exclusive and most sought after

If budget allow I would look at a Genta design. AP or PP.

Reverso, El Primero, and Grand Seiko (I would say spring drive) are good suggestions too.

Nothing

If you don't know what you want but just want to add a watch then you should take a time out and enjoy what you have. Add a few straps to ring the changes until something catches your eye.

Being a watch enthusiast is not about the most watches you can own, it's about having a passion for great watches - design, quality, history, function - not about more.

A Monaco!

Any reference that starts with CAW should do. Can’t talk about “iconic watches” and not include a Monaco

Without budget hard to say, if no limit then AP 15202 or PP 5711-12, that's as iconic as it gets next to a sub and a speedy

I started with the same three watches that you have. I added a Zenith El Primero as my fourth one. I would also recommend a JLC Master Chronograph or a JLC reverso.

You can't get more iconic than a Datejust or Explorer.

Rolex daydate 36 mm yellow gold is pretty iconic.

I would say Rolex GMT master II Pepsi ref 16710 would also fit the bill.

Seiko SKX007 has withstood the test of time, but sort of in a different class vs what you have.

I agree with others though, iconic is great, but you should really get what you love first.
