FS: VINTAGE 1969 Rolex Submariner 5513 Meters First

Description: 1969 Matte Dial 5513 "meters first" Submariner. Excellent Kissing 40 Super Fat font Insert that has faded into a slate grey. This gem was purchased from the original owner's son and includes a letter outlining where it was purchased and the details behind the watch.

Dial: Excellent Meters First dial. Original deep yellow lume on hands and dial. Has some minor lume bleed on some of the lume if looped. Dial appears much more brown than other matte black dials of the same era. I would not call it tropical but perhaps heading towards that direction?

Insert: Extra Fat Font Bezel with kissing 40 that has turned into a dark slate grey.

Case: Excellent case with even thick lugs that appear original and may or may not have been polished. Original bevels are apparent.

Bracelet: 93150 bracelet in excellent condition

Serial: Serial is 2.1 million.
