1977 gmt 1675

I am new to the site and asked about my 1977 GMT 1675. Folks had asked for pictures. I am not sure how to send a jpeg on this post since it is just a picture within my work folders?
I
sent in the watch to Rolex ten years ago. I knew nothing about the watch as being a collector. Rolex asked if I wanted the hands and bezel replaced. I said yes, IF they were original. I am not sure if this watch now has a replacement ceramic bezel and different hands. My father gave this watch to me and I would never part with it.

Thanks for your input. I am not sure how to attach a jpeg?

A 1675 will not have a ceramic bezel insert, it will be aluminum. I have one on my wrist right now.

It should also have a matte dial. It is a great watch!

Pic 1977 GMT 1675

Thanks TimeToGo for the image upload. I am terrible on computers. Hopefully...I did upload my 1977 GMT Master?
Again, I sent it to Rolex in Dallas ten years ago and they asked me if I wanted to change out my bezel and dial hands. I said yes, as long as they are original. I am not sure if this bezel and hands are the alum bezel and proper hands. If the jpeg did not come through....sorry I will have our IT guy at work send it.
Thanks,

John

You need to get the acrylic crystal replaced immediately and Always Keep the crown locked down!!!!! Water will find its way into the watch.

I know of several people that forgot to tighten the crown and water got into the movement. Get used to doing it now.

I believe a Genuine Rolex acrylic crystal is going for around $100.

That is a great watch, enjoy!

You are welcome.
Sadly you replaced every vintage piece on the watch, dial, hands, and insert. Yes, they are original replacement parts.
It is a very nice watch. Obviously you need to get crystal replaced.
