The 200 simply means you have Message account storage for that amount of PM's...
Non-pledge members only get 50 I believe....

some folks send and receive allot of Private Messages or (PMs) therefore there is an option here on the forum for members to pledge or donate to that function and receive extra storage space quite simple really. Now the mystery is solved?
