Time 4 a Pie (and 20 pints) Summer GTG Saturday 3rd August

Time 4 a Pie (and 20 pints) Summer GTG Saturday 3rd August.

Venue TBC to attendees at a later date but it will be in one of Leeds finest restaurants with a private dining room. Meet for a pre-meal pint around 12:00pm before heading to the venue for some nice food, wine and a bit of watch show and tell followed by a few after dinner pints.

Trying to beat our record attendance of 6 people so all welcome.

Couple of pics from previous GTG's

Bump to the top.

No NRD required at this GTG.

Venue booked, a great SECURE location in the centre of Leeds.

Good food, good wine and good company.

That looks like an amazing GTG, unfortunately for me I’m on the wrong continent. I hope you have a great time, and I look forward to some pics!

It's usually a great day.

Looks like a couple of Rolex Forum members will be attending for the first time as well.

Wow! That’s a lot of watches for 9 people

That might be a bit too far to travel
Next one is going to be in around 6 months time, December / January hopefully. Watch this space.

Which watch?

The Flightmaster (5 pushers / crowns on pic) or the Bullhead (pushers at top, 1 at bottom)?

Well both but the bulky one with 5 pushers caught my attention. Never seen that before.
A limited edition?

What a great GTG. Would have attended, but not in England currently. Do you have dates for the next one?

As an aside, how do you know which watch belongs to who after all the photos?

Here's a better picture.
It's a Flightmaster from circa 1969, when launched it was the most complicated Omega ever manufactured.
Main hands show time as 9:33, subdial at 9 is a day / night indicator so looking at that you know it's am.
The blue hand behind the hour hand is an independent GMT hand to measure a second time zone.
Internal bezel can be rotated to potentially show a third time zone, but not that easy to work out.
And it's also a chronograph.

Will bore you with the Bullhead tomorrow night

No dates as yet but there will be plenty of notice given.

Watch collectors are extremely anal, they know exactly which one is there’s, even after drinking for 12 hours.
