To get or not to get..

So couple weeks ago I popped in to the AD near work about a month ago, they told me they have nothing new but some Datejusts. I received a call about a week later for an Explorer II black dial and I purchased it. She sends me another text today and says hey good news and bad news. Bad news I have no blue datejusts, but I do have a Two Tone SkyD black dial. My heart stopped.

Now I do love this watch but I’m saving up for something PM, is this still somewhat desirable or is it easier to get now a days?

You guys think I should grab it in hopes of maybe trading up in future. Do you think it’ll hold its value? Or drop as most TT models do.

If only she told me it was stainless 😂

No thanks to TT. Stay SS or go all the way.

Only problem I know for a fact I’ll never be on that “list” too many high end clients it’s like swimming in a tank full of sharks and being a goldfish

I wouldn't purchase this one with any thought of future value. It's a beautiful watch in my opinion. I would buy one on the spot if it looked OK on my skinny wrists.

You will not be faced with a long waiting list for a PM. Skip this one and tell your ad to call when he has the PM model that you want. The TT is of course a nice watch, but not what you want and you will take a hit when you flip it.

If its PM you really want then wait for the PM.

Getting a TT is never going to satisfy that itch.
