AP boxes- is their a reason behind the different colours
Recently acquired a pre owned APROO in RG and it came in green box, whilst this is very exquisite, I just wondered if certain models are sold with different colour boxes or whether it was depending on the year of manufacture, or something else ?
It’s a 2016 Model serial (I) there is only the one book with it and this is the certificate/ service book. It hasnt had a documented service i was going to consider getting one for piece of mind as the Independent dealer rep didn’t know much about it ( they tend to special In Rolex) Also wondered if it had ever been officially registered with AP and wondered if I could get the extended warranty if it was or at least register it if it has never been registered. Many thanks in advance for so many questions, trying to do 3 things at once😀 |

I think it has to do with the case material, gold vs stainless.

Has nothing to do with material. They simply changed the boxes over time. Brown was the older one and then it was changed to green.

AP boxes- is their a reason behind the different colours
The recent ones are all green save for some LEs. Perpetuals will come in larger boxes to account for the winder.
The non green ones I’ve seen are yas marina blue (for UAE perpetual), purple (BP concept), red (China perpetual), mirrored (Bucci mirrored LE). There are definitely more, I just haven’t seen them all |

Great info, thanks everyone, would love a change my strap for a different colour, has anyone seen rubber strap that isn’t black on a Rose Gold Offshore, personally I think the black is a very nice as it contrasts the black ceramic outer dial but can’t help thinking their is another colour that would work, would love to see any pics of a RG with a different colour rubber strap.

Love the red and the White, are these authentic straps or aftermarket? If so where do you recommend buying aftermarket (I am in the UK)
