94010 before and after

Now this looks proper!

The service bezel was just too new on a 1980 Tudor Sub.

What especially, was weird was seeing a pip light up at night.

Service bezel from the 90s I'm assuming...

Anyway found this awesome dude on eBay, he makes these aftermarket inserts for Rolex subs.

Apparently the 5512 bezel size fits Tudor Sub and as you can see no pip on the new/old look.

Finally it's showing its age.. looks proper.

Not an aftermarket gent myself, but it does look good. I like the service bezel, too.

Immagonna pass on the faded aftermarket service insert look.

Your original Flat Four service insert from the 90s or so was at least partially correct.

I’m a pass on the aftermarket insert as well, but if you like it then rock it...

I tried to source the authentic and period correct faded bezel. I have not found any including on this forum. I have seen the ones that have sold previously and I can’t justify the price. It is aluminium after all. I have looked at eBay too. Couldn’t find one.

The once or twice I actually saw nicely faded correct bezels they were always blue

The watch needs to look it’s 41 years imho. With the bezel I had it looked too new for me. So much so that I barely wore it. Now I think it ok get a lot of wrist time.
