Hi All! New here! Question about 1950 Rolex / Tudor?

Hi Everyone, I am new here and new to the world of Rolex!
I like everyone else am enamored by Rolex and their watches and am looking to make my first purchase!

I have a question for anyone more knowledgable than me. Was there ever a 1950s watch that had both Rolex and Tudor names on the face? Rolex under the 12 and 'Tudor Oyster Regent' above the 6...
My friend has an old watch that he says belonged to his grandpa and has offered to sell it to me. I personally thinks it looks really cool but again, have no idea what it is!

I can't find any examples of anything similar online. I have a picture but due to my lack of posts, I am not allowed to post links.

Thanks for any advice or help in advance!

Not in the 50s. A Tudor Regent is it own thing and wouldnt have Rolex on the dial.

Thanks for the response. That is what I thought, I know the topic about the crown has come up on here before so I was curious.

Here is the watch:

Yup, most likely a repaint or it is fake. Those hands are neither Tudor or Rolex

The dial is certainly not original.
