Exploring the local area

It might not be an explorer but I am today.

Thought I’d poke around the local areas parklands.

Thanks all. I am not a rich guy so to buy myself some decent watches I have had to flip. I would buy less expensive pieces and work my way up. This wstch is the product is about 6months of flipping.

So it probably means more to me then to those that can just buy what they like whenever they feel like it.

My friend use to own this same ref with black dial and I was amazed by the nice the case was built and how sleek and well made it was. When it comes to vintage Rolex I don’t necessarily think it’s a price question. I am sure that this one will bring you so much joy just be glancing down at it!

Here is a pic of my friend’s watch on Rolex rivet bracelet:

Looking at your wristies I kinda think your watch looks a bit like the 3800 PP Nautilus from a quick glance...

Mine has the same bracelet but I need to have it repaired. It’s really stretched.

I have this series big brother, the 6424 at 36mm and I keep it on a folded 7836 oyster bracelet currently...

I think the lugs are pretty much the same shape as yours. It’s basically the same model as the 6426 but larger dimensions. Here is a side shot of the lugs...

The bigger 36mm oyster 6424 is rare in my opinion and Even rarer with no lume dial. Thanks for sharing

Thanks! This one is really growing on me year by year. It has the creamiest dial I’ve ever seen....
