No need to be embarrassed. I have only seen one other one on the road (not at a car show) since I have owned it. It is a 1958 MGA. I did not completely restore it, but I did some minor mechanical work, replaced the whole interior, and compounded/polished/waxed the paint. The cut down windscreen, Sebring front racing valence, and bumper removal was done by me as well. I wanted it to have my own personal touch:)

[QUOTE=rpryan55;1967433]Tass, I had a 987 and I swear, that is absolutely the most fun a human being can have behind the wheel of a car. I still sigh every time I see one - sometimes I wish I had never let it go......

Beautiful car, btw.

I had a Lotus Elise before this one and it was even more fun! The Cayman is more practical though..

Just an extraordinary vehicle. It's a beauty, and, after hearing about the modifications I have only two words: Well done!

Tass, I've always wanted a Lotus. But ingress/egress was just too hard to make it a practical car for my purposes.

That said, that Toyota engine and perfectly smooth tranny make that car just too cool to drive - and a bear to beat around the track. White is one of the two perfect colors on that car, IMHO - you must have had a great deal of fun in that thing.

Very nice collection .. I have a few cars in my collection, but most of them are old .. They belonged to my father, and now they are mine now that he is gone .. I have a new Lincoln MKS and a Lexus LS460 (i know not very fun) .. but I love them .. I keep the 47 Chevy, and the 56 Caddy locked up at our dealership
