My first Pam 104.
I just got an scratch on the crystal on my brand new pam 104 right over the date magnifying glass. it was a very soft encounter with a wooden table. Is the crystal that delicate? I've had a rolex date just for over 10 years an it has never been scratch over the crystal after daily use. Can anyone comment on your experiences with the Crystal? Thanks

Sorry to hear of this, would you be able to post come pics to show us this scratch? I have had a few Pams and never any issues with scratching.

Would it be possible it is the "infamous" reflection on the date cyclops?

depending on what light is hitting it, the cyclops can look "scratched", i suppose (see below).... personally, i like the cyclops....balances out the dial and, with the, umm, "unique" magnification, it has a bit of old-time-y feel. to answer OP's question, no, the sapphire crystal used by PAM isn't "softer". |

Move the watch around and see if the "scratch" moves around the cyclops also.
If it does'nt then you may well have picked up a scratch. |

LOL! So it's just not me! I too have the 104 and there are times when I break out in a sweat seeing a scratch around the cyclops. Then it turns out it's just a reflection. Trust me, it's not scratched.
