My first Rolex (sub, no date), a dream comes true :)
Hello rolexforums!
I'm an austrian watchfan. So far i have 3 casios, 1 Seiko (sarb065m), and a nomos (ludwig). I love watches and when I leave the house without one I feel naked as its the only real jewlery a guy can have (despite a wedding ring :D ) As a diver and Bondfan it was always my dream to have this timepiece. Finally after a couple of years and christmas double money I thought why not ;) i am young and maybe I'll die in a couple of years. Who nows. I have 1 month now and I'm wearing it every day. Its a 14060m, 2008 in a very nice condition. It was polished and to me it looked completely new. The only downside (probably) that it was first bought in Hongkong. So I was a little bit worried. But I bought it from a chrono trusted partner with no negative ratings who just sells rolex watches. And I had a 2nd hand dealer in my city have a look at it as well. I'll here present you my favorite watch. When my future child (i am single :D )is going to graduate from university or finishes some kind of doctrine this will be his present (in 20-30 years hopefully). |

Absolutely superb. Good to see you are also a Bondfan - your timepiece is the direct heir of Bond's Submariners, which were no date most of the films, with the exception of Licence to Kill where he wears a 16610 Sub Date, the same case as yours.

Congrats. No date model is classic and clean. I have a date model but I remember feeling exactly the same when I got it and I'll pass it on to my boy one day. Wear it well!!

Congrats, great model. Seiko sarb056 is another great one, i alternate mine with a no date sub and the seiko seems to draw more attention.
