Submariner help, real or fake

Hi,

I am being offered this watch for 5500, some room to play in there. The problem is that I have to fly to see it in person and i only have a bunch of pictures. The watch comes alone, without any box, papers or accessories. This is what has me worried.

Would the only way to be sure of it's authenticity is removing the back? I have an idea of what the movement is supposed to look like on a real one so I'd have fewer problems spotting it that way but don't know if seller would agree to it.

Let me know what you think, only pictures I have. Seems to be from August 2006, correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks in advance for any help :) Would love to own it if is legitimate.

When anyone offers a watch for over 5k with no evidence of authenticity and sh*te pictures like this it's time to walk away. Plus it looks fake.

100% fake. Glad you asked and didn't just assume it was good because it was expensive.

Looked closer and noticed how bad it is. No second markers where they should be and "hologram" clearly visible, thicker hands..

If you have no CLUE how to tell a $100 fake watch from a $6500 Rolex, you don't have any business buying from anyone other than an Authorized Rolex dealer.

Jesus fake watch for $5,500 and still gotta fly to get it. Plus no paper or box. You're better off saving saving some extra money. Don't fly. Negotiate a deal with a TS on here. The TS I bought my first Rolex is from these forums. Highly reputable and honest. I live in Miami..TS in Atlanta. Just remember "too good to be true" Be safe. And wish you luck on finding that watch.

Well, here's an idea. There are plenty of legitimate ones out there. Buy one from an Authorized Dealer or one of the many trusted sellers on this forum.
