Time to acquire my first AP ...need some advise
15400 Black or White dial....

It’s silver on the 400 – and no, it doesn’t look dull.
I’ve found the black dial’s glossiness provides so much glare in bright lighting conditions, that it masks the hands – not something the silver or blue suffer from. It’s a trade-off you’ll need to accept as the dial looks well in subdued light, as what light is available, sparkles as the angle changes through wrist movement – just like the silver does too. |

I chose black as it has more contrast than the silver. AP has added gray to the 15400ST options so keep an eye out.

Silver/white is an amazing dial. Blue dials get most of the air play, but you need to see the silver/white in person to really appreciate it.
