Hands Scratching Dial?

I just noticed a circular scratch pattern on my dial. Not sure if it just started happening now, or happened slowly over time. Will take it to be looked at, but any thoughts?

That's what it looks like. I wonder how that can happen.

Has it been serviced recently? Looks like the hand was seated too low. Either that, or an impact may have knocked it down... Either way your dial is damaged and will only get worse if you don't have the hands reset.

Strange that it stops and starts..looks about the size of the recess on the under side of the dial for the hour whee.

Thanks for the replies. I took the watch in, apparently the dotted pattern is because it happened while being set (that's how the hour hand moves). Something/s must have shifted inside to cause the rubbing.
