Regardless it looks very nice. I'm just curious about the dial text.
Correct! Bought it brand last week and had it switched from the original one. Kept the original for the future though...

That makes sense then!!

Don't toss away that original dial! Very nice. I'm one for matching dials to bracelets, it makes for a cleaner finish. Plus those old pie pan dials are just gorgeous.

Enjoy in good health!

Beautiful watch! Was it difficult to source this matte dial?

Why did they start brushing the lugs? DD or DJ, it's a shame imho. It looks so much better brushed.

Superb examples gentlemen! I'm beginning to really like the matte pie pan dial. On the hunt for a WG full set myself

Thanks!!
Brushed lugs started with the 6-digit DD (11823X)...they were probably aming for a more modern and blingy look...stupid IMO...
Managed to get one for my YG and my WG one from the AD without any hassle...pics of the YG 1803 to come...

Great news!! Love the pie-pan dials over the 5 and 6 digit dials by far!! And if they are matte as well, then it's really something extra IMO...
