Icon5 What Model are this Rolex ?

Good morning ladies and gentlemen

I have a great pleasure to post a new threads here so I can solicit your knowledge and your expertise.

In fact, my father has died for some time ago among his possessions I found a Rolex watch , and because i am from Morocco It is almost impossible to assess the watch in my country.

I tried to do some research in the internet and of course because I'm a novice i didn't find anything that can help me to know if is a Real Rolex , the model of the watch and its estimate price on the market.

This is all the information i have with the pictures :

Written on the watch dial : Rolex Oyster Perpetual Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified Cosmograph

Written in the Case Back : Winner Rolex Ad Daytona 1992 24

The Code On The Clasp : Steel Inox Z9 78350

The Code on the Link and on the Bracelet : 455 B 78628

In the Warranty document is written : Chronometer 69173

I wish also to know what are the spot on the sides of the watch and how can i clean it ?

Thanks you

OP: I sense some incredulity. It's a simple matter of weighing the watch. If it's a genuine, then you'll know it because gold is heavy. However the tarnish on the side gives it away as something other than gold. Furthermore, Daytona race winners were gifted steel watches and not yellow gold.

A Daytona is a chronograph, What you have there is a Date-tona......and that's just the beginning of it's problems.

Not even remotely close to being real, any of it.

Gotta love "steelnox" on a purportedly YG watch.

It must be a rare, special "24 Days of Daytona" instead of "24 Hours". LOL

Why bring up his father?
Watch is fake, as was already clearly stated. Lets leave it at that?

Just another guy who bought a fake and thought it looked really good. He thought it looked so good in fact he wants to see if he can rip somebody off with it. These guys really are that simple.

The 1992 24 hour race at Daytona sure had a lot of winners that year. So many in fact that a new one surfaces at least twice a week on here. The drivers that year were so desperate for money that they let their beloved quarter million dollar watch out into the market for a mere $199.

On a side note, did anyone watch the Indycar race this weekend and see Chip Ganassi wearing his real race winner Daytona?

Thanks for your opinion again, Adam, second time you follow on my comment with an attitude on TRF (probably wont be the last one), surely you must not try to be nice often.
How many times have you added your "FAKE" comment after several members have already stated it was ?What do you gain from replying to my comment really ....

I love how the Steel(white) fakes are stamped 18KT, yet this Yellow one is stamped "Steelnox"
