Nice pic! Congrats, looks great on you.
As for a winder, just say no, unless you have a perpetual calendar complication.... Winding and setting the time after a period of non-use is a moment I like - getting reconnected with the watch on a mechanical level. |

Congratulations. I would look at a two watch winder from Brookstone as typically once bitten by the watch bug you end up with more than one. You do not need to keep it wound but it is nice to just take it off the winder and go.

Wear it daily, otherwise it won't become really yours. Should live with you! Scratches are scars as live goes on

Exactly. Your wrist is the only winder you need. Wear it daily and actually get your monies worth.

Just a note: If you do only wear it for a couple of hours a day and maybe not every day, it may not be enough to keep it fully wound. So don't be alarmed if it ends up stopping on you. Just keep it topped off with a manual wind every now and then. Winder not necessary.

No need for watch winder. I do have my Rolex and Omega watches on winders because I'm lazy and just like to take a watch from the winder and put it on. The only inconvenience is when a month goes from say February to March and I have to adjust all watches with current day of month. I did mention that I'm lazy.
