WG 1803, isn't it pretty nice?

Recently bought my self a new matte black dial for my 1973 white gold 1803. After changing the dial I really felt that I was in love again with this model (was never really out of love, but anyway : ) )... I think it is so cool that Rolex so early decided also to make the DD president in WG as an alternative to YG (and RG for that mather)...I know the buzz here is more on vintage Daytonas and vintage sport Rolexes...but anyway, hope you will enjoy some pics of it;

Any love for the WG 1803 out there?

The brushed lug day dates are so much nicer than the current ones. Yours looks really nice.

Thanks brother. Yours look like in great shape too.

I find the 1803 with 36mm is great size and comfortable to wear. I still keep all the original paper and box. I am glad that after so many years I still love this watch very much. Thanks for sharing yours.

One more shot for you :) hope you like it.

Agreed. Awesome that Rolex decided to make a WG version so early ago. Give that baby a slight polish and it will be restored back to its original brilliance!

Why does the dial just say Swiss Made? Is thaf a late service dial?

Regardless it looks very nice. I'm just curious about the dial text.
