First scratch paranoia....

Be it a new Rolex or a new car, the feeling I have is that until I receive the first scratch or dent, my life is full of paranoia. And when that scratch / dent finally occurs, I can relax about the whole matter and just accept the inevitable. That watch obviously shows use, and the first scratch thing is now insignificant. Just imagine what the wrist would look like if the watch wasn't there?
