Placing a submariner stainless steel bracelet on a 2tone submariner head
Has anyone ever done this? If so can you share photos? I really want the blue dial and bezel of a two tone on a steel case and bracelet and this seems like a genius idea to me. I did a Google search and no pictures came up.

All genius ideas must start with a first. I think it would be a good option. Trouble is you have to buy an extra bracelet to make it possible.

I had that combo in the late 90s but have no pictures unfortunately. If was a common thing to do then when the bracelet was bagged.

From what I recall, forum member "Subtona" did this with his 16613 when the bracelet wore out.

Not for me, it is only TT after all, so don't need to make it quarter tone.

Less in your face with the subtle gold highlights I'm not a 2 tone guy but I'd wear that

I could see myself wearing those over a full 2 tone. |

Thanks for the pictures everyone. I'm not a two time guy at all and I really like the blue face of that submariner. If I do that that route id store away the two tone bracelet, keep it mint, and wear the stainless bracelet! :)

[QUOTE=BBQ BOY;6366714]I took the Hulks bracelet off and put it on my bluesy for ***** and giggles. I didn't like it in the least. To me, the watch was very uninteresting and lost its beauty.
I actually kinda like the "quarter tone" look. I didn't think I would. I've been thinking about brushing out my gmt2c bracelet. This may be the spark to light the fire on that. |

I think a stainless crown would be needed to complete the look.

Here's mine sold a few years ago. Original bracelet disintegrated from wear.
I think it looked great on the SS bracelet. I have a couple of nicer pics but can't find them at the moment. Bezel nicely rounded out courtesy of Rolex service. (Yes that is sarcasm)
