What's the bezel pearl made of?

that's it, really....

I just wondered what the luminous bezel pearl is made of? Is it sapphire/fused alumina coated underneath with superlume?

lol. Well, you don't hear a lot about them specifically dropping out, getting damaged and so on so I figured it has to be tough but I am not certain at all hence the ask.
