Removing half link on Hulk
I really, really, really don't know how to get that half link off on my new Hulk.
Went to the AD and the guy there told me the link is fixed and can't be removed (the screw doesn't go through to the other side). I would really like to flip that link from one side to the other but it does seem frozen on. Anybody else run into this issue? Thanks. |

No, my AD moved my half link to the other side with no trouble at all. Like removing any other link, it seemed.

So I suppose my AD had no idea what he was talking about then (entirely plausible).
Just didn't know if anything had changed recently. Watch was purchased in August and is one half link from a perfect fit. |

To my knowledge, there is one removable half-link on each 6-digit stainless steel SubC. I had my AD move the half-link of my 116610LN from one side of the bracelet to the other.

By the way, the half-link screw does go through to the other side. Don't confuse the half-link with the link that is part of the Glidelock system. |

That is interesting discussion. I feel my hulk bracelet is not balanced and I don't know what to do. It seems my AD are not competent enough to do it in the shop and I will take it to the service center

When you get it off, please send it to me ... I wish all Rolex came with them.

I just got back from my AD (watches of Switzerland) where they have just adjusted my bracelet for me by doing exactly this.
Now I have 4.5 links on the 6 side and 5.5 links on the 12 side, and a perfect balanced fit. Obligatory photo... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The half link is the removable link on your 6 o'clock side. So if the OP was trying to remove the glidelock link, that's not possible. |

Yes, you're right about the glidelock not-really-half-link thing. I called it a half link as it looks like one from above, but when you look closer it isn't really one. However, the real half link on my 6 o clock side is what the AD moved from 12 to 6 for me today, resulting in a better balance and fit (on my wrist). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The half link is removable. As Matt said, just make sure you're removing the right link.

I agree, also what worked for me (everyone suggested moving the 1/2 link to the opposite side) was removing the 1/2 link entirely

I thought the reason the 12 o clock side of the bracelet had more links was to counterbalance the weight of the watch head to not have it swing around your wrist.
