Making friends at the vineyard

Making new friends at the Winery at Bull Run in Virginia.

Me: Pelagos LHD
Him: Rolex Deepsea

We swapped watches to try on and my reaction was "wow, beautiful and dense" his reaction "comfortable."

Also saw TT Sub, Steel Sub Date, Gold Sub Bluesy, some kind of TAG, Apple Watch, Movado, Casio Rangeman.

Yes sir. It's about that time to start hitting the Virginia wine trail. Mostly for picnics and such. Hope to get involved in some crush events later this Fall. Gotta make it through whatever summer mother nature decides to toss our way first.

Are those both men's arms, or woman/man?

That is my skinny, hairless arm. I am indeed a full-grown man.

Is it the photo, or has that LHD has a blue pelagos dial fitted?

It's just the lighting. We were under a tent in mixed sun, light clouds so tricky white balance. And i punched up the saturation and contrast a bit because the original was a bit washed out.

The Pelagos holds itself very well in the company of the DSSD, IMO.

Both great watches!

Nice toys !!!

Even though I opened the thread expecting to see your LHD, for the first fraction of time...my brain "identified" an upside down watch on your wrist

Definitely a twist I particularly appreciate on that piece !

Enjoy your day !
