I am wanting a Blue OP 36mm which, unfortunately,Rolex no longer either produce or supply to the UK.

I'd be happy to go preowned but this piece is going to be a gift from my wife for my upcoming 50th birthday and she only wants to buy new.

That model is still being sold by Rolex if not mistaken; check with the various power sellers here (DavidSW, takuya, Lawrence, AU_911tt, etc) as they may source a new one for you.

Love the OP line. They are the perfect size for my 6.25 inch wrist.

Congrats! I was on the hunt for one of those for a while, but ended up going with a blue dial DJ instead. It was a close call.

Thanks. It's on Rolex's website but not in UK catalogues and not available to order according to my AD.

Given that this piece will be a birthday gift from several family members to me for my upcoming 50th birthday it will need to be both new and sourced from an AD.

Thanks David

The power sellers here can get you one new, with your wife's name on the card, full Rolex warranty etc. Suggest you contact them before you buy something else!

Importing from the States, with taxes, will be expensive. I'd call around UK ADs to see if any still have one in stock.

I too bought one of these last Saturday. I am absolutely delighted with it! The size, the comfort, The feeling of quality and the gorgeous sunburst dial. No problem getting one. Just called my ad and they had one as a standard stock item. They are just lovely watches

Thanks! My watchmen used 116610 submariner hands (green lume); understand the 114270 and a few other models use the same hands as well. 39mm Explorer 214270 hands are blue lume.

Yes hadn't appreciated the different colour lume used in these references. Must say my favourite reference has always been the Explorer but may have to revise that in light of your modded watch. Well done.

Most comfortable watch I've ever worn. I have the same reference and my wrist is 7.5 inches and looks great I think although my wrist is flat not round which I think makes a difference. Anyway big congrats . Brian P.
