Thinking about changing my profie name to "Flipper"......

I think I'm going crazy here! Thanks to spending so much time browsing this site, I've become a watch swapping fool! Just wanted to share this with you guys, and see if there are other morons out there like myself. It sure is fun though!! I guess I could have worse habits!

Nov 2013- 16610LV for....DJII White Dial with smooth bezel
Dec 2013- Omega PO LE Liquidmetal for...116613LN TT Sub Black Dial
Jan 2014- DJII TT Grey Dial for.....BLNR GMT

February is a new month.........

You have nothing on the superdog but still impressive. To be fair I prefer almost everything you got as trades though the lv versus the djII could go either way.

Bought / sold / flipped 50 watches in three years. Does that count?

As Mike said we have had a 'flipper' on the Forum for 6 years.

Only one by name but thousands by description.

I don't know if this site will ever let me be happy with a purchase. Considering selling what I "never" would sell and buying what I know I have no business buying.

I agree mate, it's this site is what does it, so many great pics from so many great members that your head spins faster than your wallet, and your eyes are bigger than your stomach. That's why I have a 6 month rule between buying watches.

This forum is like a cult. you are basically forced to purchase the next hot watch, just so you feel worthy/included!

I have been quite the flipper myself, but have learned to slow it down recently. However, I bet that reputable ADs with a nice used selection could make a sweet penny leasing watch for that very reason! I for one would be a customer! In my opinion, you really need to wear a watch for a while before you know whether or not it is a keeper. All watches wear differently and sometimes a moment on the wrist is not enough.

Flipped in 2014:

Rolex DDII w/Blue Roman Dial for Rolex DDII 2 Tone w/Black Dial

IWC Ingenieur "Mission Earth" and IWC Portuguese FA Jones Tourbillon for Patek 5205R-010.

Rolex GMT II and Yellow Gold Sky Dweller for....probably a 5712R. This flip is still ongoing.
