You'll still get dings even with plastic. The dings matter more to value than hairlines which polish away.

Dude, just enjoy your watch. Enjoy the scratches it will get. They add character.

This obsession some have to keep a watch scratch free and brand new looking forever is insane and I just can't fathom the logic. Wear the watch and don't let the watch wear you

I prefer to enjoy the high polish and brushed satin surfaces without covering them in plastic. To each their own

I wouldn’t go as far as to call it obsession, I’m ok without it. I simply asked the question to know what people views and opinions are over it. And I could understand someone that has a more labor intensive lifestyle liking this product to extend the life of there timepiece.

Man, insane is right! And trying to accomplish it is, well, how about: 'NUTS'?

First of all, it's just a watch. Second, anything that gets used, especially, daily use will experience wear and tear.
Not *damage* just wear.
Sure, I like my watches, car, Hammond organ looking clean and the metals shiny, but I've never taken a toothbrush to my car door handles, or 'Cape Codded' my piano's brass hinge or pedals.
I have done both to my watch, if done once or twice a year my watches look great. Looking great is enough for me: Maintaining Showroom Condition is a fools errand unless it's only worn once or twice a year.

As already said, hell, enjoy the watch and ignore the possibilities of: scratches, swirls, nick's, etc. Personally I have more interesting things on my plate, and again: it's just a watch.

And, I'm not inferring the OP is crazy, he had a question, we gave him answers. That was my only intention anyway.

$70 USD plus tax and shipping, hell nah. I prefer unsafe raw dog wearing of my watches.

Don’t worry, OP. You’re not alone. Otherwise this product wouldn’t exist.

I’ve clear bra’d my cars. I put screen protectors and cases on my phones. Guessing no one else has.

If it were cheaper, I’d consider it. I won’t consider it at the current price because I know I’d need 10 sets to get it applied correctly.

Flame on.

I agree about the price point thats why I decided to ask before I pulled trigger. If I end up getting it I’ll let you know how it works

Not sure what reference you have but here is a cheaper option.

Just checked and they make a lot for the GMT2 and Daytona as well. Not a full kit but much better price.

A screen is one thing. On a watch, however painstakingly applied it still looks like ass. I've yet to not see this supposedly invisible plastic stuck all over a watch. It looks like some sort of watch rental clause.
