Question for the Moderators
Hi All,
I’m planning to post something in the Rolex General Forum but wanted to run it by you first to make sure it’s OK. My wife and I have purchased several Rolex watches over the last five years and plan to add to our collection. Last May we bought a Coral Dial OP31 for my mother-in-law but she’s decided it’s too flashy a color for her. As a result we decided to consign it at Christie’s Auction House. I’ve never done this before for any item, and probably won’t again, but it’s been an interesting experience - one that I’d like to share with other forum members. So is it ok with you if I post about my experience? It won’t be about flipping, trying to drive people to the auction, or anything other than informing folks about an interesting part of the watch collecting environment. Thanks in advance! I don’t see a problem with it as long as you’re not attempting to sell.
