I had to do it…
… My NATO strap, it had one hole that made it too tight… and the next one that made it too loose… so, I had to poke an extra one to make it Juuuuuusstttt Right.
I call it the Goldilocks. |

Very practical course of action befitting the NATO strap. Now take a lighter to it and clean up the fuzzies

I really like the Chevron Adjustable straps from Crown & Buckle. Never an issue with getting the proper fit and they lay on your wrist nicely without the bulk of other Natos. There is no extra length to loop back into the buckle either.

Looks a little too tight.
Loosen it to the next hole.

Funny thing I was just writing about that a few minutes ago…but suggesting a rubber strap for infinite adjustability. And here you were busting a move on a nylon NATO! D’oh why didn’t I think of that???
Me, the Stick a red-hot canvas needle through that Goldilocks hole to seal/melt the frayed nylon and it’ll last longer. Or a red-hot 3mm awl… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

That is a heavy watch for a Nato band. I have that watch on the original rubber/plastic.
The new hole is a perlon move. I could never get putting new holes in those bands. Enjoy the watch! It’s pretty. Find the stingrays! |
