Real 7835 Clasp?

I purchased this one eBay, however, after looking around the internet, all the clasps I've seen have the date stamped on it and this one doesn't. Would anyone happen to know if this is the real thing, or have I been had?

I never found out. I'm assuming the previous post means it is real.

The clasp is genuine. Occasionally you will find one of these clasps without a date stamp.

Thanks! That's good to know. I was getting a little panicked when I was trying to figure out when the bracelet was made.

I have an early 1970's 7835 clasp with no date stamp on the clasp; having the same question as yours I read that this was the practice at that time.
