I was thinking just that! There were just too many question marks from Tristan's stories/excuses.

Well, whats to keep Tristan from just registering a new profile and building a new persona. Maybe he's planning a new scam. If he has that vivid of a imagination to make up Philippo and his near death experience. He could be among us now as a newbie, gradually working himself back in to TRF. Maybe he seen the handwriting on the wall and made a profile a long time ago and has kept it dormant until now. Maybe he's one of the old timers thats "suddenly" appeared again recently. Hell, I could be Tristan.

Truth is there's no way to keep him out permanently is there?

If one uses a dial up connection, they are assigned a new ip addy every time they dial in. Besides there are proxy servers out there as well. If you read this thread there appears to be a certain newly registered Frenchman who knows a little too much for his own good....
