Pam 562 - very fast

Hi all,

I have a Pam562, that i really enjoy, but it have suddenly decided to start running very fast, it used to lose a few seconds every day, but know it’s gaining like 15-20 min within 24hours, any suggestions to what could be going on?

The problem is that I’m located in Surabaya Indonesia, so it’s not so easy to just take it to a AD...

Hoping for some advice...

B/r
Johnny

It’s been magnetised. It’s a super easy fix for any jeweller or yourself if you get a demagnetiser.

Local AD such as time place should have a demagnetizer....just don't buy the sales talk to send the watch for full service....

Thanks for your inputs, my feeling is also that it is most likely magnetism, and I already have one of those blue demagnetizers as you can get on Amazon, but honestly it’s not really working I think, maybe I just have to do it even longer

Thanks
Johnny

I had a magnetized PAM 24. My local AD tried to demagnetize it themselves and ran into issues. It had to be sent to a service center. I realize this is not the norm as typically de-magnetization is pretty routine, I am just saying clearly there was an issue with mine that required a little more care. I was never told there were any parts issues or faults in the movement.
