Comparison - Two Day-Date gold ‘Florentine’ dials

I’d like to ask for more experienced opinions about these DD dials. Presumably, these two are supposed to be the same model of factory dial, but some differences are apparent -

- The 10:05 dial has the more common radial diamond positioning, the 8:45 has them all upright
- The 8:45 has the lume plots on the chapter ring, the 10:05 has them inside it
- Both appear to have a noticeable (non-kerned?) gap between the A and Y of DAY
- Does Rolex in fact refer to this dial type as “Florentine” (or by any other name)? (Neither has a Florentine bezel nor bracelet.)
.
Any info is appreciated!

These seem to have been touched or refinished in different ways, but yes Florentine is the right description for the dial finish.

I’ve mostly seen them In barked DD models. The DDs with Florentine finished cases and brick bracelets inevitably have regular champagne dials.

Never seen fonts like that on a factory dial. The middle bar of the "E" in "ROLEX" seems to be pointing upward...

The "Day-Date" font is all wrong. The "A"s should have flat tops, for a start. I could do better than this with a pen.

Both are refinished

It’s sometimes called a textured dial

The diamonds on the left are placed horribly
