Maybe there’s a lot of lint in the greater New York metro area!

I bought mine on Saturday. My Rolex 15003 has been in the safe since. This is certainly my everyday watch now.

I'm looking at a variety of straps online as we speak.

Congrats. I love this watch better than my Sub actually. Just something about it. Not as refined as my PADI but there is just something special.

I totally agree with the lint magnet thing!
I had a”Martha Stewart “ moment while doing some laundry recently.
If dryer sheets can eliminate static cling .... hmmmmm....
so! I rubbed my silicon strap down with an unused dryer sheet ... and I have no more magnetic lint and pet hair. Works like s dream !

PS- yes I know there’s some specks in the pic!
I should add - when stuff does land on the bracelet,! It just needs to be blown off gently.

I'm trying to decide If I want to go with a shark mesh for mine. I like the silicone, though. It's much better than the hard rubber on a lot of other dive watches.

I put my 777 on an Uncle Seiko strap. Lint free.

Good idea. If you scrub it with dish detergent it will also get rid of the link.

Yes, I was washing my straps.... constantly!
I’m finding that the “ dryer sheet treatment “ only needs to be done every few days . Lint ( and pet hair) just blows off .

I now wear my “Deep Forest “ on the silicon strap , as the bracelet made the watch way too heavy for my comfort. I’m loving the feeling of the silicon straps.

Would anyone consider putting the 777 on a bracelet ?
The uncle Seiko site has a nice looking brushed links president style one ....

Gold Turtle on a gold jubilee from Strapcode, to give you an idea about a metal bracelet on a Turtle. It’s not too heavy, either.

I cheated and took it to a watch repairman at a jewelry store.

I would like to learn how to do it myself, but not there yet. I don’t want to scratch up my watches.

Proper fitting tool? It has drilled lugs. So use a push pin it works perfectly.

Uncle Seiko is the best. So go for it.

i haven't done it to the new straps yet but on most silicon straps if you use a green scratch pad on them it would take of the sticky layer from the strap.

another way is to boil it

I suggest Bonetto Cinturini dive straps. Real rubber, does not attract lint, and very comfortable. Swap the Seiko clasp and Bob's your uncle.

I think this watch looks fabulous, congratulations Art, looks great on your wrist. I am going to take a look next time I am at the dealers, (annoyingly, I was very close and could have popped in today).

I hope it wears smaller than the specs suggest, at 45mm it may be a bit big for my 6.5mm wrists, I'm hoping not.

Thank you, Sir. It does wear smaller. I'm finding that for me Seiko's all wear smaller.

The BC straps are really nice. But they don't fit people with small wrist.

I like the new Uncle Seiko Gl straps and they fit all sizes.
